How to add Bates numbers to a PDF

Open your PDF in Header, footer and Bates, choose Bates numbering and set a prefix, a start number and a digit count. Each page gets the next number, such as ACME-000001, written into the page.

Three pages of an exhibit, a letter about a heating repair, each with a Bates number at its bottom right, ACME-000001, ACME-000002 and ACME-000003, and a close-up of one corner reading ACME-000001.
Three pages stamped ACME-000001 to ACME-000003.
