Questions
Is it free to measure a PDF drawing?

Is my PDF uploaded?
No, not without an account. Your PDF is opened and worked on in this browser tab, and never sent to our server.
Is there a file size limit?

When you’d measure a PDF
- The length of a wall on a floor plan.
- The area of a room, a roof or a plot on a site drawing.
- The perimeter of a fence or a garden bed.
Set the scale first
Type the drawing’s scale in two halves, such as 1 in = 5 ft, or draw a line over a length the drawing states and type what it really is. Every measurement is then given in the drawing’s units, rounded as you choose. Changing the scale later never rewrites a measurement already made.
On a phone or a tablet
Tap the two ends of a line, or the corners of an area. While your finger is down, a magnifier above it shows exactly where the point will land, and you can drag any point afterwards to move it. An on-screen ruler can also be laid across the page and turned to any angle.
What you get
Measurements saved in the PDF as standard measurement annotations, so other PDF apps can show the same numbers, and they open here again ready to edit. Points snap to guides and to other measurements, not to the drawing’s own lines. Without an account, nothing is uploaded.
