  2. It opens in this tab with Translate up, and finds the document’s language where it can.

  3. Pick the language to translate into and translate it, then download the new PDF.

Questions

Is it free to translate a PDF?

Yes. It’s free and needs no account. It runs in your web browser, with nothing to install.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No, not without an account. Your PDF is opened and worked on in this browser tab, and never sent to our server. Translation runs in this tab too, by your browser’s own translator where it has one. Otherwise, the first time you use a language, it downloads that language’s files from our server, and your browser keeps them. Your pages stay here.

Is there a file size limit?

Not as a guest. Your file never reaches our server, so the only limit is what your device can handle. With a free account, each PDF kept in your library can be up to 100 MB.

Can I translate a PDF on my phone?

Yes. It works in the web browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer.

Does it change my PDF?

No. It makes a new PDF with the text translated where it stands, and the PDF you opened stays as it was.
