How to have a PDF read aloud

Open your PDF in Read PDF aloud and listen: each sentence is highlighted as it’s read. It’s free in the browser at pdfeditor.page, on a phone or a computer.

Two panels. Lit as it’s read: a lease’s tenant, address and landlord highlighted, with the word OR underlined as it is spoken. Pause, skip, speed, voice: the player bar, lease.pdf, page 1, Reading aloud, with previous, pause, next, speed 1×, Voice and close.
A lease read aloud, each passage lit and each word marked as it’s spoken.

Listen in three steps

  1. Open your PDF. Choose it in Read PDF aloud.
  2. Listen. It reads from the top of the page on screen, in a voice on your device, highlighting each sentence and scrolling to keep it in view.
  3. Change the speed or voice. On the player, choose 1× or Voice.

Good to know

  • Faster? Speed read a PDF shows a few words at a time.
