How to sign a PDF without an account

Open your PDF in Sign PDF, make your signature once and place it where it goes. There’s no sign‑up and no email, and neither the PDF nor your signature is uploaded.

Two panels. Type your name: Maya Okafor-Reyes shown as a handwritten signature. Placed on the line: the same signature in blue ink on the Tenant line of a lease, beside an empty Date line.
A typed signature, placed on the tenant’s line in blue ink.

Sign in four steps

  1. Open your PDF. Choose it in Sign PDF; the signature dialog opens.
  2. Make your signature. Choose Draw, Type or Image (a photo of it on paper).
  3. Choose Place on page, then choose where it goes.
  4. Download the PDF. The signature is saved in the file.

Good to know

  • On a phone, draw with your finger or photograph your signature, and Place in the middle puts it down without aiming.
  • A picture, not a certificate. It’s an image of your signature on the page, and it certifies nothing about the file.
  • To adjust it, drag it or pull a corner.
  • Name and date: Fill in a PDF form adds them.
  • Blank fields to fill first? Make the form fillable. Everything starts at pdfeditor.page, and there are 45 single-purpose tools at pdfeditor.page/tools.
