A Smallpdf alternative that never uploads your file
Is Smallpdf safe? Its tool pages say uploads are deleted after one hour (Smallpdf Redact PDF (opens another company’s page)). At pdfeditor.page, without an account, the PDF is never uploaded at all: it is opened, edited and saved in your browser tab.

- Limits at pdfeditor.page. Text recognition reads English only, and right-to-left text can’t be edited.
- Nothing is kept for you. Close the tab and the work is gone, so download it first. Text recognition and translation download their models once, then run in the tab. Beyond the editor, there are 45 single-purpose tools at pdfeditor.page/tools, and none of them uploads your file.
